Winter is Here!
Well, I guess the honeymoon is over -- Alberta's unseasonably mild weather has changed overnight to Old Man Winter. There is a non-stop blizzard going on (since Thursday night) and it is COLD! I've avoided going outside so far but it looks like I'll have to brave the snow flurries this afternoon as I dig myself out of the front door to the sidewalk. I have to make cookies for a Christmas event tomorrow so I am confined to simple recipes that require no ingredients I don't already have in my cupboard. Here's hoping the flour holds out.
