The birthday has been fine and thank you again for the envelope.
And, by the way, since you have been to Camp Cropper, I can safely say that you are not a dork, you are not fat and I would not know whether you have fashion sense or not. I don't notice those things. I was much too impressed and amazed by the person within to be worried with the outer shell...you know?
I was heart sick I had to send it that way...the cds would have been better I know, but the website would NOT cooperate. This way, at least, you get to choose.
D*Con is soooo much fun. I'm very grateful that I allowed her to talk me into going last year. I really need to get my recap posts up. But I'm going away this weekend. :(
it's awesome that you got to meet moyawyvern! it's exciting to meet lj people, but yeah, it is a little scary. it ends up being okay, though, because it's so nice to talk to someone who's nuts about the same things you are.
I am so not cool in person.
lies! i'm sure you are very cool. there's no way you can't be :o) and as the lamest person alive, i'm totally qualified to say this.
Speaking as one of those you've met in person recently, I'm not sure where your negative self-image comes in. You are lovely and bright and wonderful, just WONDERFUL to be around. Some of my fondest memories - some of those I bring to mind when I'm in my darkest moods to cheer myself up - revolve around time I've spent with you.
You are just as cool in person as you are on the 'net, if not cooler. I mean, internet hugs are ok, but nothing beats the real thing from the Real Person. :) I value you, online and off, and don't you ever forget it - or you'll make me very angry. And you wouldn't like me angry. :-p
I really am trying to get to Boston! And yes! If you visit NC or even SC you MUST let me know (though the colleges in NC are way better than sc...just sayin')
Did you, um, maybe get a birthday related type e-mail from Amazon on Monday? I always feel like such a dork checking, but I've had these things get lost.
