I wrote 50K and I thought I was going to die. You wrote almost twice that, YOUR ROCK! And I hope you get to write that novel! I keep meaning to go back to my NaNo story and do something with it, maybe turn it into a children's book and illustrate it myself or something...We shall see.
But yeah, write that novel!
Is there something in your life that scares you? Something you think you might be able to do but, for whatever reason, you've never tried?Funny that you should ask
( ... )
Day-care, really good day-care, is priceless, and so very hard for parents to find. You'd be making some cash, and creating better childhoods at the same time. :D
Even if it's scary, if that's what your gut is telling you to do, you should do it. I know you would do well with it and it would be good for Clea, too.
>the biggest have to do with actualizing potential.
My husband says there is no tyranny like the tyranny of potential.
I take the phrase out and examine it frequently. Often I poke at it with a pencil. But I can never deny the truth of it.
It is so easy too say "If I'd wanted I could have done this and this, but I never did." It's so much harder and so much braver (and, you know, actually, really living my life) to do it...succeed or fail, trying is the victory.
Your nervous paralysis is common, I think. But that doesn't make it any easier. This is something I've been thinking about for awhile and I understand how you feel...but I do want to say wow! I hope you give yourself credit for how far you've come. That's pretty amazing.
Thank you so much for the kind words about Hinge. Your support and generosity mean more than I could possibly say. Thank you.
I feel sort of foolish even noting something like this in your presence. You are so dedicated and prolific and TALENTED my little story is sort of minimal. But, you know, you are now and have always been an inspiration because of your commitment to your craft. Thank you for all you share with your readers. You are amazing.
