Awww, but not a single Dave & Emily dance?!

You know how much I love Emily meeting Dave's family. And what a great job you did with it, keeping everyone distinct and the wolves speech, and Emily getting tipsy with his sisters and having such a great time with them. Of course, I'm also a sucker for Dave's mom and Emily, and so I'm going to cross my fingers for a future encounter down the way. And hope like mad that Cheryl makes another appearance. :)

I am sorry for no dance, but I'm sort of having a slow relationship evolution and if they danced? Well, she'd probably just throw him down in the floor and have her way with him. And where would my slow romantic build be, then?

You will see everyone you have seen in this scene again. But please keep in mind this fic is supposed to be a slice of life and that includes some tragedy as well as wonderful, fluffy things (please don't hate me).

Thank you for commenting! I am so pleased you liked the chapter, even without the dancing.

LOL! I had a feeling that was why they didn't get to dance. :) I know that if I danced with Rossi I'd want to throw him on the floor and have my way with him, so of course Prentiss would too!

You know I'll never hate you for tragedy. Life isn't always the good stuff. Anyway, I've killed Dave at least once, so I'm living in a glass house and keeping away from stones. ;)

Very wonderful stuff. It's like Christmas, only seven months early. Please don't stop being awesome.

Awww, Dave.

This is wonderful, again. Still. Continuing. Thingie. Also, I was totally getting nostalgic for weddings on my dad's side of the family. :)

Also: Rossi and Hotch's ill-fated interview with three strippers who misunderstood the purpose of being in the private room with the two agents, Ahahahaha! OMG, I wanna read that.

Heh. Can you imagine Hotch's face?

Thank you so much for the kind words. You have no idea how much it means to me...just, thank you!

Oh, wow! This was fantastic!

I love Dave's big huge family. You really did a fantastic jon creating his sisters as ravenous wolves. And I loved that Emily nailed them with "Who says I need rescuing?" Of course she wouldn't! She's a tough woman. But I'm happy that earned her acceptance.

And I love the whole Uncle Dave part. I can see him being just as protective of his family as they are of him. He is a teddy bear but will turn into a grizzly if need be and I think you perfectly captured that.

What a great update! You rock!!

Exactly! He would be the person I would want in my corner, he would be the shoulder I would cry on.

YAY! I am so glad you're enjoying. I can't thank you enough for reading and commenting! Thanks so much.

So sweet. I love the insights into Rossi's family (and thus into Rossi). What a multi-layered, great story.

And I too want to know about Hotch and Rossi's "ill-fated" stripper interview!

Everytime I think about the possibility for that scene I get the giggles...really, can you imagine Hotch and Rossi's faces when they figure out there's a misunderstanding?

Thank you for reading and commenting! It means a lot. I am thrilled you're enjoying it.
