Have moved away from home for the first time.

Strangely anticlimactic, but I suppose the hard part is yet to come.

Got to find a job, get a girl (now that I don't have to bring her back to my parents place!) and generally get a life.

Just read on the Straight Dope message boards that US sodliers in Iraq now have a 100 yard free fire zone around them at all times.

Just to reiterate, if you come within 100 yards of a US soldier, vehicle or installation... boom.

How can you possibly justify that?
