There's something about this show that when it really gets you, it just... It's like nothing else. I'm not sure I've ever fallen so hard for anything in quite this way.

And it may be physically impossible to love it more, but now you get to love it differently, and deeper perhaps, when the rush of indefinable emotion in the first viewing settles in and permeates all these different parts of your brain and comes back in force but changed as you re-watch (which I assume you inevitably will) and keep living with and thinking about this world and this story and these characters. It endures, this love.

like i said below to synecdochic, there's still a lot i want to say about the show, but i can't verbalize those things until i watch the whole series again -- so the deeper love, thing, yes, i get that completely.

I remember those episodes! I only saw them earlier this year (by which I mean, earlier this school year) and they broke my heart ten times over. And it's always good to hear that the kind of love I have for the show is experienced by someone else because this show? Hands down the best thing I've ever seen and haven't ever loved anything as much as I loved this show. And yes, it broke me down and built me right back up again.

Enjoy PKW! It's just... so amazing. *sigh*

And dude, I totally ship Cam/Vala just because of John/Aeryn, not that I don't love Daniel/Vala, but hee! [also another reason I love your valentine verse, gives me EVERYTHING I could ever hope for]

i love farscape in a completely different, far deeper way than i've ever loved any other show -- i was trying to verbalize it to someone last night, and i couldn't explain exactly how it i love this show, because it transcends words for me. this show sure knows how to push my buttons, for sure.

(eep, thank you! i'm glad you're enjoying those stories; they've been great fun to write. :D)

One of these days I'm going to finish rewatching all of Farscape, and then I will have something articulate to say, because there's so much in there. But I'm really just still stuck at: OMG! *FLAIL* JOHN! AERYN! levels of response right now. *laugh*

yes, that's exactly it -- there's so much stuff i want to say, but i can't quite verbalize any of it, because i'm still flailing. and sometimes weeping spontaneously when i think of particularly heartbreaking moments.

also, last week thassalia betaed a new valentine 'verse story for me, and her notes said, "i changed all the places you typed 'john' instead of 'cam', by the way." *facepalm*

ah Farscape, I just ♥ this show to bits and I love when others fall in love with Farscape too. Bad Timing, and the ultimate cliffhanger. We had no idea if we woud ever see Farscape again, so having to wait 2 years before PK Wars aired was sheer hell, and then when it did finally air in Oct 2004, it was shown over 2 nights. But one of the best moments for sheer joy was the Farscape panel at Comic-Con July 2004. They debuted the "trailer" for PK Wars and a room full of Farscape fans went nuts. It was magic.
