1) my mom's macaroni & cheese - It's nothing but big macaroni noodles baked in a sauce comprised of milk, flour, American cheese, and salt and pepper, but she makes it better than anyone, ever. It's all I want when I'm homesick.

2) my mom's chicken and noodles - 2nd only to the mac & cheese. It's not soup - there's way less broth. It's seriously just cooked chicken, noodles, and seasoned broth, but man oh man, it's good. I can make this myself now, almost as good as hers.

3) beef stew - my own recipe, adapted from a woman who runs a restaurant in Nashville - OMG, so good, and stays good for about a week once it's made, and gets better every day.

4) biscuits - the really buttery, really fattening kind. Hardee's are my favorite, because they're perfect, and they're HUGE. and sometimes they have sausage in them, and that's the best road trip food ever.

5) Applesauce - the unsweetened stuff. I eat it every day.

1. Spaghetti and Meatballs, preferably with my Grandmom's homemade sauce, Italian sausages, and homemade meatballs.

2. Tomato soup and Grilled cheese. Mmm, dunkable.

3. Pizza. The cheesier the better.

4. Sweet and Sour Chicken and Fried Dumplings

5. Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni.
