1)Colin Firth.

He is the only one I would give up my queerness for. He just exudes sexiness and charisma to me. Plus, his accent! I'm a sucker for a British accent.

2)Cate Blanchett-
Possibly the most beautiful woman ever. Classy, sexy, and plays such good roles in movies.

3)Kate Winslet-
I admire and adore the fact that she says "fuck you" to all the Hollywood thinness standards. Her curviness is pure sexy and omg, her lips. Ok, yes.

4) Keira Knightley.

Ha! Your words describe my reactions exactly.

5) Mark Ruffalo-

Ok, so I'll add him to Colin Firth. I'm not sure why but I would.

you're not as transparent as me, though. this journal's pretty much been all keira, all the time for the last six months. up until the recent canadian fascination, at least. *grin*

Parker Posey, Maura Tierney, Jennie Finch... um.

i am rediscovering a love for parker posey that i'd forgotten i had. it's mostly for her talent at choosing really weird brilliant movies, though, and less for the attractiveness quotient. i've always thought she was sort of ... funny looking. she's got a weird mouth.

I have a crush on the whole Mighty Wind ensemble, really. And she looks extra cute in the yellow and blue New Main Street Singers outfit, from 3 rows away.

Maryland beats Duke, a lock to go to the tournament in a high seed, twice, and then loses to Clemson? That's just shooting themselves in the foot.

This year's ACC is crazy. Maryland might beat Duke twice this year and still miss the tourney, because they only seem to bring it when the opponent wears blue...

Yeah. That was pretty awful. Nice icon, BTW.

it's okay, many many teams have suffered embarrassing beatdowns at the hands of the tarheels this year. maryland's not alone. :D

(thanks! i made a bunch of carolina themed icons last year, for researchminion and myself, and this is my favorite of them.)

Ooooh, this is a fun one.

1. David Byrne - because I've seen Stop Making Sense way too many times...and then there was the time I shared an elevator with him and the only thing stopping me from hitting the "emergency stop" button and having my way with him right there was the fact that there was one other person in the elevator with us.

2. Jude Law - You said it all, babe. :)

3. Poppy Montgomery - During the first season of Without a Trace she did this very demure nekkid photo for Maxim and right then and there I resolved to start watching the show.

4. Elvis Costello - Just so I could say I did. ;)

5. Oliver Platt - I know, I'm weird, but ever since Flatliners I've had this thing for him.

Thanks, with the posting of that photo you have rendered me totally useless at work for the rest of the day.

Since we’re suspending reality, I’m adding in a bit of time travel.

Viggo Mortenson, circa 1998 He’s not too famous. He’s an artist who gets into acting for the money. He can speak Danish to me.

Colin Firth, as Mr. Darcy As in the Austen Darcy, not Bridget Jones’ Darcy. There must be much in the way of witty foreplay.

Mick Jagger, circa 1965 Before he got too cocky, he was pretty damned hot. But that was when he was about 19, so I’d have to go back to 19 for the occasion.

I can only think of three. I’ll sell my other two passes on Ebay and become very, very wealthy.

i don't know, bridget jones' mr. darcy wouldn't be too bad, either.

okay, either Darcy.
I think it is the Top Hat that I really dig. That and he would have to appear on a horse, and I'd be wearing a pretty gown.
