Blah blah blah, long story short, on Saturday morning when I was still drunk from Friday night's Jack Daniels, I bought a new zoom lens for the SLR -- a Quantaray 70-210mm inexplicably marked with a CN instead of an NK, even though it sure as hell won't fit on a Canon body, and it's a dream to use the zoom feature for ogling baseball players up ( Read more... )

Pants. Pants are overrated - both in work situations and, well, in aforementioned butt shots. AHEM.

gettin' better every day. thank you. :) (and getting broker, from developing all this film, but i just can't quit. today i molested a $500 80-400mm lens at the camera store, and walking out without it was SO HARD.)

i am going to keep thanking you until i find a way to pay this forward, and probably even after that. ♥

this is what you've done to me, mouse: i'm ogling old film cameras on ebay ALL THE TIME. viewfinder cameras that i wouldn't ever put higher than 400 in. cameras that take 120mm instead of 35mm. and i couldn't be happier.

i made a list last night of what i want in terms of camera gear, in order, and it goes: dSLR; a couple of new lens, including an even bigger zoom and a handful of fixed ones; a variety of weird old film cameras; a new point and shoot.

then i cried over how much money that's going to cost me, but it'll be worth it.

thank you, bb. i know that i have a good eye, most of the time, but sometimes it is hard to make the camera see what i see. it sees things a lot more out of focus. ♥
