Boston Meetup this Saturday. I haven't been to one of those in for-ever....

We had a really fun weekend on the houseboat. That trip always tires me out. I'm ready to play again now, but mom won't take me to the park. The mommy and daddy seem to be taking turns leaving. I hope it stops soon. Something bad always seems to happen when one goes away. Last weekend while daddy was gone I found one of his sticks to chew on. Daddy's sticks don't taste as good as mine, so I only took a couple bites. I felt pretty ill the rest of the weekend. So much has been happening this month. I had something mom calls a "birthday" which apparently means you get a whole bunch of raw meat. This was very confusing for me though. This weekend was pretty exciting, because mom had someone from her old pack staying with us. She liked to go out on the deck and bark and bark at one of those plastic things they like to play with, which was nice for me because I could go sit in the sun and chew my stick on top of her feet. This morning Uncle Jerry showed me how to get in to the neighbor's yard by jumping over the barrier stakes and squeezing under the fence. He's so smart. Mom and Dad have to go away this weekend, but instead of putting me in a kennel, they're having Krissy come over to keep me company! Krissy is really nice and pretty and we have a lot of fun. I'm so excited!

Mommy and daddy took me to the doctor today. I wasn't sick, but they said they had to "fix" me. How can you fix something that isn't broken?
