Hope or don’t hope?

People say if you wait for something and imagine it happening, it happens. Because the feeling and the thought bring the thing.

In other point of view, some people say ‘’if you don’t wait, you don’t cry’’. Because you aren’t waiting for something, and if this thing doesn’t come, you will not be sad.

The question is: Hope or don’t? Wait or don’t?
