This almost killed me ù_ù I wanted to make a comprehensive 'best Sylar scenes in season 3', but those were just TOO much (this is what happens when you got 25 episodes and Sylar everywhere *cough* not that I'm complaining, lol) so you get a vol. 3 picspam and a vol. 4 picspam which is coming soon! I'm pretty sure it'll be ready tomorrow. I still haven't watched the season finale yet - SO PLEASE! DON'T SPOIL ANYTHING IN THE COMMENTS, THANK YOU! Other than that, this is quite image heavy. the second coming
The beginning of the season is PRICELESS! Sylar back in action and it feels, oh, so good.
The final scene with Claire is probably one of my favorite EVER, and I kinda think the two of them (Zach and Hayden) have great chemistry on screen, monster vs. sweet cheerleader? It definitely works.
claire: [opens the door]
sylar: hello, claire. i bet you've been wondering where i've been since you saw me last time, huh? let's just say i took a little detour from my career time, spent a little time south of the border, but it's all behind me now, like a long night after a bad taco.
claire: no. i saw hiro nakamura kill you, i was there.
sylar: and yet here i am, fully recovered, well - not fully [significantly looks at her] that's actually why i've come.
claire: what do you want from me?
sylar: same thing i did the last time i came for you. i want what you have, claire.
claire: [silently takes a cup from the shelf]
sylar: i want your power.
claire: [violently hits him with the trophy]
sylar: [falls down]
claire: [runs away and tries to quit the home, but sylar locks her inside the house, cuts the power, making her a prisoner in her own house]
claire: [grabs a knife, hears footsteps]
sylar: [silently follows her]
claire: [tries to stab him then runs away and locks herself inside a closet]
sylar: [tries to open the closet's door, smiles]

sylar: i know you're scared. i would be too all alone inside this house with someone like me. a man you barely know. it isn't exactly a fair fight, i admit. but i don't wanna fight you, claire. i just want what you have. [opens a box full of noah bennet's files] you see i lost everything that made me special. lost [pulls out a folder] but now found [smiles] there's a whole shop of abilities right here, but i'm going to start with the best. and once i have yours - [turns around]
claire: [stabs him and tries to escape]
sylar: [stops her and sends her against the wall, then slices her head open]
claire: [screaming] no!
claire: what are you doing to me?
sylar: i'm looking for answers before i bleed to death.
claire: funny. i'm looking for answers too. why don't i feel anything?
sylar: no nerve endings. an amazing bit of machinery, this... and how much of it do we actually use? 10%, maybe 20%. imagine the answers we'd have with 100%. why is there evil? how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? how do we make love stay? all these answers, they're all right here. [touches her brain]
claire: are you gonna eat it?
sylar: eat your brain? [whispering] claire, that's disgusting. [finds the right spot] there it is. [stands up and pulls out the knife from the wound. he heals, then smiles. finds her scalp and puts it back over her head]
claire: [healing] wait. what about me? aren't you gonna kill me?
sylar: poor girl. there's so much about yourself you don't even understand. your brain is not like the other's, claire. you're not like the others, you're special. and i couldn't kill you, even if i wanted to. you can never die, and now i guess neither can i. [opens the door and leaves]
we're gonna need some coffee.

Sylar acting like the perfect FBI agent? PRICELESS!
noah: you realise, she's playing us. this is all one big game to her.
sylar: maybe. but aren't you curious to see how it all plays out? [they both get off the car] so how do we do this?
noah: "we" do nothing. i take care of the escapees and petrelli.
sylar: that sounds like a one-sided partnership.
noah: we're not partners. you just stay close and keep your mouth shut.
sylar: [pauses and stops] who the hell's in charge around here? [loudly]
noah: what are youd doing?
lt: i'm lieutenant chory, who are you?
sylar: special agent andrew hanson, fbi. lieutenant, you mind telling me why these barricades aren't 30 feet further back? you want the media up our ass?
lt: sir, i'm in the middle -
sylar: are you just trying to get one of these lookie-loo civilians killed?
lt: [to his men] you heard the man! back the horses up! all hands!
sylar: and we're gonna need some coffee! decaf.
mens around: let's go! three feet on the other side.
sylar: you drink decaf, right noah?
i can take it all.
it's coming
I have to say I HATED the retcon with the whole Sylar/Elle thing. And I kinda thing they could have handled their relationship MUCH better than that. BUT! This scene is so powerful, intense and... strong. I loved it much more than those after-sex-kissy-kissy of the following episodes! So yeah... one long amazing scene. Zach and Kristen did a very great job in this one, so... kudos to them! :D
elle: you. [shocks him]

elle: i will kill you, you son of a bitch! you murdered my father!
sylar: yes, i did.
elle: [screaming] how could you do that to me?
sylar: i'm not gonna insult you by saying i'm sorry. you deserve much more than that, elle. you deserve vengeance. i'll take whatever you've got.
elle: [shocks him again and smashes him against the door]

elle: [screaming and shocking him] murderer!
sylar: [falls back to the floor]
elle: [screaming, again] murderer!
sylar: i didn't want to kill him. i didn't wanna kill any of them, you know that. you saved my life, remember, elle? you know the pain i feel over this. the urge. but i'm nota gonna let it control me. not anymore.
elle: [shocks him and cries] i'll kill you, i swear to god, i will kill you!
sylar: i understand. you need to let it out.
elle: [shocks him]
sylar: [screams] the anger. the betrayal. you can take it out on me, i can take it all.
elle: [violently shocks him]
sylar: [screams, then they both fall on the floor, exhausted]
elle: go ahead. kill me. please.
sylar: [frees her instead, then stands up]
elle: kill me. take my power, that's what you want. kill me and make the pain stop.
sylar: i wanna make it stop, elle. but i'm not gonna kill you.
elle: please, just do it.
sylar: i'm sorry. i want to be a good person.
elle: you're a monster. like me.
sylar: no, your father made you this way, just like my mother made me. we were never good enough for them, elle. you never meant to be this way. you wanted to be normal. you just didn't know how. you saved my life, once, elle. you gave me the will to live, don't you you see i know you?
elle: i only saved you so that we could use you. like a lab rat.
sylar: you were just following orders. [touching her arm] but i forgive you. now you need to forgive yourself.
elle: the pain. it's gone.
sylar: [lifting one hand] oh my god. [blue sparks flash all over his hand, he's crying, then smiles]
i know.
the eclipse, part two
This couldn't have ended any differently. The final lines and the long psycho!glare he gives just KILLED me. Elle was wrong and Sylar's definitely back. It made me squee like an idiot ù_ù
elle: what was that?
sylar: hiro nakamura.
elle: [approaching him] strange day.
sylar: was bennet lying about my parents?
elle: of course he was, he's bennet.
sylar: he seemed to think you knew something about it.
elle: he's just trying to mess with you.
sylar: sit down [helps her sitting on the sand, he tries to caress her face, but she shivers and almost tries to stop him. he kisses her and lays her down on the beach, entwining his fingers with hers] i've been thinking.
elle: about what?
sylar: what you said about finding ourselves free of parents. our powers.
elle: what about it?
sylar: you were wrong. nobody ever really changes.
elle: you did. i saw you.
sylar: that was temporary. and then i got my powers back. and i understand now that i'm never gonna change. neither are you cause we're both just damaged goods.
elle: you're hurting me.
sylar: i know. [he kills her]
cake?
our father
Psycho!Sylar back in action! Playing with his victim, asking for cake with his hands fully covered in blood? OMG YES.
sylar: sue landers? special delivery.
sue: [uses her power] you're lying. you're not here to make a delivery.
sylar: impressive. how did you do that? [closes the door behind her]
sue: what do you want?
sylar: to understand what you do. human lie detector, how does that work? when someone tells a lie... does it tingle?
sue: how did you know about me? who are you?
sylar: someone who covets your ability. i have to find out the truth about something.
sue: no, you don't. trust me.
sylar: i'm sure it's hard, seeing the ugly truth at every turn. it must make it hard to trust anyone [slasm her on the wall]
sue: [panting]
sylar: shhh. it's not gonna hurt a bit.
sue: [she understands that he's lying]
sylar: [smiles] got me. that's a lie [slices her head open] i almost forgot how good this feels.
sue's colleagues: [entering the room bringing presents] hiii! happy birthday! [the fall silent in front of a bloody-handed sylar]
sylar: [smiling] cake? [slams the door closed behind them]
does kind of tingle.
our father
One CRAZY scene thrown in the middle of the episode. GOTTA LOVE IT.
sylar: [enters the elevator, a song's playing]
guy: [looking at him in shock]
sylar: something wrong?
guy: no.
sylar: [understands that he's lying thanks to his new power]
guy: no.
sylar: hmm [smiles] does kind of tingle.
you're not hunting me. i'm hunting you.

I had to list almost the whole episode here. This is probably one of my favorite Heroes episodes EVER. Sylar playing hide and seek and other psycho/cruel games with Noah, Claire, Meredith and Angela? Perfection. The way he tries to break their bonds and everything just because Angela broke his heart making him believe he had a family. And once again - as much as I usually don't like Claire, the scenes her shares with Sylar always work out perfectly. AMAZING!
sylar: [talking on speakerphones] arthur petrelli is dead. no need to go to pinehearst now.
angela: sylar?
sylar: don't worry, claire. peter couldn't do it, so i did. just like mommy wanted. i know i repulse you. terrify you [playing with his voice] you see me as a monster, and yet you did this to me.
claire: [faces him through cameras]
sylar: and before the night is over i'm gonna prove to you, one by one, that you're all monsters, exactly like me.

noah: i know where he has to be broadcasting from. claire, you get six shots. pump after each one. keep angela safe at all costs.
sylar: [speaking on speakerphones] think about it. manipulative grandmother, neglectful father, a mother who abandons her own daughter? all villains, really.
noah: meredith, you're with me.
angela: you really don't think you can stop sylar?
claire: yeah, i do. sylar's got my healing ability. there's a spot back here [touches the back of her head] jab something in, it cuts off my brain, shuts me down.
sylar: and claire, you and i, we're more alike than any of them. we can't be damaged, i mean... except for a broken heart. and that's what parents give us, isn't it?
claire: we're nothing alike, you sick bastard.
sylar: i'm going to enjoy proving to you just how wrong you are.

noah: [turns the guard around: he's dead]
sylar: [speaking on speakerphones] you're not hunting me, noah. i'm hunting you.
sylar: [calls her on the phone] there is a way to stop this, claire. you wanna be a company agent, hunt down bad guys, that means making hard choices just like your daddy, and let's face it - you are just like your daddy. okay, i will allow you, dad, and bio-mom to walk out of here right now alive, to live happily ever after, all you've got to do is take your shotgun, hold it up to angela's head and pull the trigger.
claire: [glares at angela]
sylar: is she even worth protecting? she wanted to blow up new york city, murdered her husband - uh, okay, tried. and most importantly, lied to me, made me believe i had a mother and a family and then took it all away. but if you're dead set on keeping her alive, you could always just give me daddy.
claire: why are you doing this?
sylar: you should ask your dad sometime about what he and elle did to me. i could have been nobody instead of the monster i became. and now elle's dead, and very soon your father may be too. it's your choice, or fault. all you gotta do is get rid of angela.
claire: you hurt him... and i swear to god i'll hunt you down and kill you.
sylar: [smiles] from cheerleader to stone cold killer. who's the monster now?
claire: [charges the shotgun, glares at angela, the shoots the phone] you are.
sylar: they say adrenaline can kick-star a dead heart [makes meredith's gun fly away, the he suddenly moves his arm]
doyle: [controlling sylar like a puppet] meredith's mine. mine to love. mine to kill.
sylar: [smiling] you really think you... can control me? [breaks the illusion, makes doyle faint]
meredith: [grabs the gun again and turns around to shoot sylar, but he's nowere to be seen]
sylar: [he's behind her, she turns around and he injects with adrenline right in the middle of her chest] one more thing to do [smiling]
noah: [sees meredith, trapped inside one of the level 5 cells] what the hell? what happened?
meredith: [can't control her power] get away! [screams] i can't control my fire.
noah: did sylar do this?
meredith: yeah. he pumped me with adrenaline. i can't hold it back. you gotta go!
sylar: [locks both inside the cell] it's bulletproof, remember noah? at the rate she's going you're gonna need that one bullet i left you. [whispering, approaching the glass] shouldn't be too hard for you. hey, let me ask you one thing. when this is all over, and meredith's dead, with a bullet right between her eyes, what lie are you gonna tell claire? your life or hers, noah. you helped make me into who i am, i just wanted to return the favor [leaves]

claire: [watches what happening to meredith and noah in the screen] we have to save them!
angela: he only showed us that because he wants us to go down there.
claire: [sylar's smiling and watching her in the screen behind her] i don't care.
claire: [walks, holding angela by her hand, the shotgun with the other. she leaves her for one moment, to open a door] now, come on. [she offers her her hand again, but it's sylar who takes it, as if nothing happened]
sylar: [blasts her against the well, keeping her still with his arm]
claire: where's angela?
sylar: well, you wouldn't pick before, so... i had to up the stakes. save daddy... or is it granny?
claire: [trying to free herself] let me go!
sylar: why are you even pretending? we both know you're going after your dad, even after all the lies he's told you, how he's neglected you... what does that say about you, claire? [smiles] that's the thing about the truth, claire. stings like a bitch. [lets her go]
claire: [runs away, leaving him alone]
