The official Freefall launch party happened this past Sunday at Third Place Books. The turnout was great; over 90 people in attendance, I heard.

I gave a little talk about my Path to Publication, read an excerpt, answered questions from the audience, and then signed every copy of Freefall that was in the store. (The bookstore totally sold out, ( Read more... )

Looks like a wonderful turnout and lots of fun! I think you should come south a bit (Tacoma, maybe?) for a signing. I'd be there! Congrats on your book. :)

Tacoma could be cool! Most of my family is down in Tacoma/Puyallup. :-)

I grew up in Puyallup. :) I'm in Orting now, but will most definitely travel to Tacoma if you sign there.

Hi, Mindy,
I have followed your book-blog tour and publication with great interest for lots of reasons, chief among them being that my own new-ish book is also called "Free Fall" and I'm a book reviewer. You're doing an impressive job and I like the format of your blog. I could go on. If you ever have the time, might I query you about your efforts?
