Confused, she looks around at the room full of people. She walks to where Eomer is sitting, thinking she might have some answers. Ummm...excuse me, but do you know why we were all called here? I'm a bit confused, and my friend's gone and I don't know where my other friends are...Smiles faintly
*cocks head, take a moment to register the voice* Firiel! That depends. Which friend are you referring to? I've been, ah, a little out of touch lately.
As for why we've been called here...we have an assassin loose in the Quarters. Though by now I'm betting she's a hundred miles away. Still, I don't know what kind of damage she did on her way out... Can I get you to look around and let me know if anyone's missing? Besides Haldir and Faramir, of course. They've barred themselves in. e.e
Oh! Uh. The ever-awkward question. I'm Eomer. Yes, THAT Eomer. I'll explain later over tea, all right? Just take my word for it. :)
Tifin's not in Gorlim's pocket? Odd... Right, hmm, okay. Gorlim may not be a concern, he does tend to vanish on his own, but...Hanild AND Frealaf? That's not good. This woman -- she was posing as a kitchen servant by the name of "Vanthene" -- she had a particular thing about Frey...said she'd already tried to poison him twice. Um. I have a REALLY bad feeling about this. Has anyone checked their rooms?
Halbarad! Glad you're up and, ah, yourself. Me, I made the mistake of having a private talk with our "extra servant." *gestures to the bandage, says quietly* She threw something in my face. Can't see. Am all right otherwise, mind you, and I'm grateful for that. Worse could have happened.
Your Southern friend's gone to check on my daughter? *worries lip between teeth* All...right, then. I'll trust her for now because YOU trust her. But isn't Alcawyn Gorlim's jo--
*faint smile, almost glad Eomer can't see his lingering unease in his own body*
Don't worry about Alcawyn. She'll be fine. I promise.
Yes, I said Vanthene and Hanild. Gorlim came rushing into my room early this morning, blabbering on about how he wanted to hide people in there to keep them safe. When I finally managed to get him to talk straight, he told me that Vanthene had killed Frealaf and taken Hanild. He's tracking them now.
(( Last post for the night I'm afraid , just shoo Vi where she is needed :) ))vidumaviMarch 18 2003, 12:33:50 UTC
Being rather confused at all the running around that was being done by various people, and the various messages that were being passed around, Vi entered the throne room, still with a red carnation tucked behind her ear. Rather than speaking and showing her confusion, she settled for taking up residence against a wall, doing her fairly good wallflower impression. She was sure that she would find out what was going on eventually. If anyone looked in her direction, she smiled and nodded.

And I can't find Gorlim, or Hanild, or Frealaf...not to mention Tifin is still asleep in my room...
An assassin? Oh dear! Do you know who she is?
Well, I can look around, though I don't know many people here...I could maybe describe them to you, if that would help....

*sighs; takes a seat near Eomer*
I'm here. Nadiyah is-- *wonders how best to phrase this* --making certain Alcawyn arrives safely. Gorlim set out to find Vanthene and Hanild.
*takes in the bandage and Eomer's air of discomfort*
What happened to you?
