Halbarad! Glad you're up and, ah, yourself. Me, I made the mistake of having a private talk with our "extra servant." *gestures to the bandage, says quietly* She threw something in my face. Can't see. Am all right otherwise, mind you, and I'm grateful for that. Worse could have happened.
Your Southern friend's gone to check on my daughter? *worries lip between teeth* All...right, then. I'll trust her for now because YOU trust her. But isn't Alcawyn Gorlim's jo--
*faint smile, almost glad Eomer can't see his lingering unease in his own body*
Don't worry about Alcawyn. She'll be fine. I promise.
Yes, I said Vanthene and Hanild. Gorlim came rushing into my room early this morning, blabbering on about how he wanted to hide people in there to keep them safe. When I finally managed to get him to talk straight, he told me that Vanthene had killed Frealaf and taken Hanild. He's tracking them now.
((I'm just going to pretend Firiel's there while this convo's going on...just because she was talking to Eomer...))
Vanthene...and Hanild? Did she take her somewhere?
Hearing about Frealaf's death, He's...dead? She...she killed him? Shocked and concerned, she looks up to Halbarad. Then hears that Vanthene took Hanild. Oh dear! I knew something was wrong!

Well, MY first order of business is to get some hot water from Jade to resolve the pronoun problem. Second is to see if she can locate Frey's shade and get any useful info from him. Third is to see if anyone's capable of riding after Gorlim. Fourth is to alert Helm and Erkenbrand.
What about the horses? Don't you have some Mearas in the stables that can go to Rohan? If one of them is willing, maybe you can spare having to send a rider.
((Ignore my crazy ideas if you have another less crazy idea set to go. ;-) ))
Having no idea what they are talking about, she sits at the foot of the throne, trying to take in the news of Frey's death, Hani's capture, and Gorlim's rescue attempt.

*sighs; takes a seat near Eomer*
I'm here. Nadiyah is-- *wonders how best to phrase this* --making certain Alcawyn arrives safely. Gorlim set out to find Vanthene and Hanild.
*takes in the bandage and Eomer's air of discomfort*
What happened to you?

I wish I did not have to bring you this sad news.
*fidgets uneasily, hoping that Eomer might step in soon; he--she--might be better equipped to deal with this*

You are kind, my lady. I don't believe I've made your acquaintance before...

What do you intend to do, my friend?

By the way, what are we doing here?

Yes, that sounds like a good plan.
