i made a tres leche cake yesterday, it was good, but not worth the stupendous amount of effort that went into making it (it took over 2 hours). it is pretty though, maybe i'll put up a photo later ( Read more... )

I had a dog who could get out no matter how many holes I patched up. I know they are expensive, but an invisible fence will keep them safe.

well, we need to fix the fence to keep raccoons and things from getting in and attacking our garden anyway. (though deer have been the major problem, and a fence won't stop them unless it's like 8 ft high, which is not allowed. maybe the dogs will help though!) so we'll do board fence on 2 sides and add chicken wire to the wire-grid 3rd side of the fence (we are training shrubs up it for privacy). if the dogs try to get out, we will probably look in to the invisible fence option.

It is a little pricey but they will never get out and into traffic or into something in someone's garden, or get picked up by the local pound. All of which happpened to our puppies until we got an IF. :(

Good luck with the fencing and doggies. Do be careful with the dog/deer combo, my sis' lab got kicked by a deer! ;(
