If you get the machine, say this: "I can't take this anymore.. I have some old stuff in the bathroom that I think was my sisters, if i don't hear from someone by noon, I think I should start taking that". You WILL get a call.
She actually called me back fairly quickly. She then pawned me off on my primary doctor. Either way, I have an appt. at 1:30. I seriously was getting to the point of eating EVERYTHING in the medicine cabinet. If I wasn't pregnant, I just might have... I hate being sick.
Okay don't get mad but in defense of your drs office, it's overwhelming to return to work on a Monday after a holiday weekend. It's crazy. EVERYONE is sick and no matter how hard you try, you just can't get everyone in. Our triage nurse tries to return all calls within an hour but on days like today it's just not possible. I am sorry you are sick :(
That was just me being a crabby pregnant bitch. I want my way and I want it NOW! LOL She called back pretty quick, although she was also very quick to pawn me off on my primary doctor. Hmph, all is good. Got an antibiotic and am about to take a wonderful benedryl. Nighty night! ;)
Do you have a sinus infection? I just had one and it really sucks, I'd throw up about twice a day from the drainage. And it's awesome to be able to take only the few things that don't work!! Well, hopefully now that you have your antibiotic you'll be better soon!!
Sinus infections in pregnant women should be illegal! NOT FAIR! 5 days of this and I was ready to poke my own eyes out! Swink said I'd have it at least 5 more days without an antibiotic. Oh hell no buddy, drug me up! OH and for the record, I'm swine flu negative. That test was HORRIBLE! I swear he shoved a vagina swab all the way up my nose until it touched my brain! hahahahha
I could have told you Benadryl was safe. This is how swink and all my previous ob's put ot. If it is a med that you would give to an infant it is a med that is considered safe for pregnancy. LOL! That swine flu test is a bummer. Take lots of fluids, your meds, and get better before New Years Damn it. I have a game that is gonna rock your socks off. I can't wait!
