in Downtown LA you ask people if they know where the "T" is, and only when you get surprised stares back do you realize that it is called "Metro" here. You still, however, keep mentally referring to it as "T".

I thought "getting local" in Boston would mean asking for T when looking for a bus and meaning the train.
