in Downtown LA you ask people if they know where the "T" is, and only when you get surprised stares back do you realize that it is called "Metro" here. You still, however, keep mentally referring to it as "T".

Pre-departure
Ok, so I am still going to SF, no, wait, to LA! no, wait, to SF! ;-)
Anyway, I am going to LA on Saturday and from LA I take a 4-day tour to SF! Then back to LA for the New Years. And maybe my dear friend Gene will come over, too. Meanwhile, as my camera is in repair shop
