I need help identifying a book, and the person who can answer my question gets crowned Cleverest Person On Mia's Flist for a whole WEEK!

well, it isn't Great Apes, and it isn't The Quantity Theory of Insanity either. I've read SOME of How the Dead Live, and I can't really see it being in there either.

My bet is on My Idea of Fun, sounds most likely.

It's in My Idea of Fun.

I'm not clever though, I spent five minutes using Google Books. There is a book called "Understanding Will Self" (!) which talks about it.

I will go to great lengths to procrastinate...

I'm having trouble deciding who wins the award. Alan, who doesn't lift a finger and lazily guesses right... and you, who essentially was silly enough to work for me for free.

I know, I reckon it's thebritpopkid, who gets right to the matter of things with his 'utter pomposity'. :D

Thanks very much though - I didn't think of that. I did google things like 'will self egyptian cotton sheets' which ended up with some funny results.
