Wow. Wow. WOW. I don't even like yaoi, but this was so eloquently written, so very IC for Knives. I understand it's part of a series, but it works so well as a stand-alone. Love it.

That was the theme I was attempting to go for, to show Knives's mental state. I'm happy you liked it ^_^

(Oh and it's interesting that the bulb Plants have very limited mental capacity. It's an interesting idea that Knives may have seen their mental level as better than that of humans, and chose to be like a spoiled, deluded kid than to grow somewhat, as Vash seems to have done)

Yeah, that is very easy to see, and could explain his regression and his desire to meld with the Plant gestalt in the manga very well.

Thank you ^_^ It's good to get reviews like this, because 1st person POV is the thing I worry about writing the most, whether I'm IC or not, whether I've gone on too long or not or been too brief. . .
