Then it's gone, and he very deliberately turns his back.

"You see?"

A gentle chastising, and then he pats Bar.

Brief spark like a star, the echo of a bark.

And a short vision of the dog star rising red over the Nile.

Gone too quickly, and the sound of a man's laugh lingering.

He smiles, just a bit, at the sound and raises a glass of wine in salute.

There may be sparkling eyes from across the room, lifting a pint in reply --

Or perhaps just a trick of the light.

If any night was going to have Sirius show, this would be the one.

If, however, the departed Barman wants privacy, Dream is willing to grant that as well.

I am the lord Morningstar!

I think I look very much like him, without all the sweat and the dread knives of judgement.

Would you like a sweet? I suppose it is a sweet from the pits of brimstone, since I am the lord Morningstar. Indeed it says 'Red Hots' on the paper.

"If you offer, Lady Morningstar, I will accept. How do you do this night?"

A somewhat larger smile for Kassandra, and he waves a hand toward a seat for her.

Well am I, on this night when all tread the Halls of Wean. Are you here to bring dreams? Nightmares? Dirty pint-glasses loaned to far and starry realms by the bar?

"I could provide most any of those, Kassandra. Which would you prefer?"

Something about her makes him always want to smile. Not even Dream quite knows what it is.

(ooc: Dunno if this would present a problem. Todd was one of the Other's victims, if Dream can't respond, that's fine.)
There's a pair of young men moping nearby. Though it only seems like a dark haired young man's there.
However Dream might yet see a familiar poet being held tightly by the other boy regardless, despite his cursed invisibility. He glanced back, not expecting to be seen.

((OOC: Dream can see. He could even do something about it. See, the problem with Endless is that they can, if asked, screw up everyone elses plots. So the question is not "can he see" but "do you want out of the Other storylike"))

(ooc: I would say yes, since the boys have had a lot of angst from this plot as result, and even before it. Like potentially self-destructive. So yes, go ahead. It's was more for him to face his fears, and he's done so.)

The star-eyes of Dream glance that direction.

And then the Other's curse isn't there any more.

Sometimes Dream takes care of his own.

Kaylee and Mal are in the bar. Now Kaylee is over by Dream.

"Ni hao." Her head is tilted slightly. Concernedly.

It's just a wee bit noticeable when Morpheus, Dream of the Endless, mopes.

"Hello, Kaylee."

He dips his head in a nod to her,

"How are you enjoying tonight?"

"Pretty shiny so far. Weekend on the whole's been pretty shiny."

Pause.

"Glittered Jubal Early in the face."

Kaylee looks...proud of herself.

"I am proud of you."

He even looks it, despite the icon.

"How did that come about?"
