Cole looks up from his notebook and sees the confusion on Sara's face.

"First time here?"

"Uh, yes." Sara places one hand against her hip, fingers brushing her gun for comfort. "The last time I checked, I was in the Las Vegas Crime Lab. Where am I?"

"Well, you're a long way from Las Vegas. Welcome to the end of the Universe. This is Milliways Bar." He sees her hand moving towards her gun and his face goes stern. "And I wouldn't pull that if I were you. Bar rules, no violence."

"I was checking to be sure it is still there. I don't like being without it." She takes a deep breath, calming herself. "The end of the Universe?" Her mouth twists sardonically. "Well, I suppose this beats going back to my apartment."

"I can go back, can't I?"

Faith=Security. Ergo, Faith see gun, Faith hustle over.

"Hey, uh, I really hope you don't plan on using that thing. Last time somebody pulled a gun in here he shot at me and I had to break his wrist and arrest him. The gun thing tends not to go over well, so...word to the wise, just don't, OK?"

Sara smiles reassuringly. "Cole already told me about the rules--I won't use it. I just prefer to keep it near me for comfort's sake."

"Ah." Faith nods and lifts her shirt, exposing a wicked six-inch curved hunting dagger strapped to the side. "I know the feeling."

She drops the shirt and holds out her hand. "Faith. Bar Security. Welcome to Milliways. Did Cole tell you all the rules or just the violence one?"

Sara shakes Faith's hand. "Pleasure to meet you--Sara Sidle. CSI from Las Vegas. And ah, I think that's the only rule that's been covered so far. What else should I know?"
