Crash. Crash crash crash. Tyler was supposed to be safe (if misplaced)!

Enzo tries to judge the kid's velocity. He* doesn't have superpowers, he can't magically negate the speed someone's falling at just by catching them.

Tyler LIKED being safe! It's not his damn fault the portals have a twisted sense of bathroom humor.

The rest of that got muffled by Tyler's airbag belt finally going off from the veolcity.

Airbags! Good enough! Enzo leaps onto his surfbaud, moves in high and-

"Gotcha!"

The force of impact bumps him down a bit, but not enough to push him through the portal, and the airbags distribute it enough that he doesn't break his arms.

The horrible horrible ride has stopped now! Tyler would be thanking Enzo for this, but anything he's saying is muffled by the airbags.

...except for the poor kid's inner ears which are not happy with anybody right now, much less the boy they're attached to.

Will's been outside and when he sees Tyler appear, sheathes his sword and runs over to try and get under him,

"Tyler!"

As Tyler speeds down towards Will the odd thing happens again.. Namely, about 4 feet above Will's head the boy disappears...and reappears to fall again from forty feet up.

"Will!"

Oh god make it stop, he doesn't even know what he did to deserve this.

Oh god why is he missing Will and constantly...constantly starting falling all over again?

There's a lot of swearing in the five second span between pops.
