This is not the face of a pleased Lady.

Marian comes in about an hour after this. Having been escorted home, then argued and been denied the right to even see her father. Perturbedness flashing across her face at the realization of Milliways existing at her ( Read more... )

William's spent most of the day trying to calm the horses who don't like the changes and is currently at a table with some dinner.

She looks like something out of a book and he's not wearing his hat so he touches his forehead, "Yes, ma'am though no one's sure what's happenin', but it ain't good."

Marian looked to her side until she found boy. The Bar couldn't seriously need her mother than her father, and still felt herself take the first steps in through the doorway. Door knob still in her hand, door still open. She's had so many years to learn.

"What has happened so far?"

"There's a green thing above the counter, had an earth quake, sky's gone red and everyone's spooked, ma'am,"

He doesn't blame her for not coming all the way in, he rode in a few moments after the quake and almost turned around.

"And no one knows, if it's magic? Who's behind it?"

Teja looks at her from the bar, where he is having breakfast (as that is making sense to him right now).

"No, but it shall," he says.

Marian's eyebrow rose, rephrasing with his words.

"What is shall be happening?"

"Doom and gloom," Teja says. "There were explosions, also; and earthquakes; and there is rumour of cracks in the Window."

He nods his head in quiet greeting at her.

Marian's brow furrowed and she stepped in, glancing to The Window. "It looks fine. Who said there were cracks?"

Also. Explosions? Earthquake? Was someone changing the bar again? Or was there something far more problematic like a powerful fight going on, again?

If Guy has seen Marian (he has), he can only be studiously not looking in her direction (he is, sort of). Despite what he is told is the oncoming End of Days, he still nurses a hurt from his last "discussion" with her.

He is reading. He is reading about...something. With great intensity. And not aware of her out of the corner of his eye. At all.

Marian is, sadly, engrossed in the discussed with two other men first. Taking down mental notes, if not anything physical, and only reluctantly either time being willing to close the Door on which she had kept her hand.

Which seems to have been wise.

Because the moment she does?

She frowns at that spot.

Where her Door has vanished.

"Lost something?"

Guy is still apparently absorbed in his book. It is an idle question. Nothing more.

It's about as good as being hit.

(She's so well aware of what that is like.
His fist. His sword. His dagger. His lies.)

First the door, and then snide remarks.
And him. From him. He just stood there.

Just stood there after what she did.

That she could have saved his life. Likely shouldn't have.
