Clare spends a lot of time walking through mostly uninhabited wilderness. It's what happens when you travel between towns in a sparsely populated pre-industrial land. Especially when you're faster and more tireless than any horse

Finn is tanned from working on a flying ship for the past few months, but otherwise still perfectly himself: a notebook at the bar, drinking a milkshake out of a straw as he watches people with open curiousity.
His eyes shift to Clare when she walks in. He's not wearing a sword, as it's a bit impractical while flying, but he has an all-purpose knife at his belt of the sort that is good for handy work and for self-defense. (He's not at all tense, or warrior-like.)
He sets down the milkshake and, after a moment, says "Hi," hopefully loud enough to grab her attention.
Finn tends to not take people going on-guard in stride, but she seemed on edge, so he chalks it up to being new more than finding him in particular dangerous.
He still grins a bit, as he picks up his milkshake again.
"You're not allowed to hurt people. Um, in here," he says, helpfully. "They get angry and put you in the cells."
Clare files that under 'rules of the town, which I can ignore but might make my life easier by paying lip service to until I run into a yoma,' and focuses on a more immediate issue.
Clare spends a moment being bemused, and a little intrigued, by the chair. She's never seen anything constructed like that before. (Her world's technology tends towards leather, wood, and wrought iron.)
Only a moment, though, because she has other priorities.
...For the time being, they apparently include staring at Babs (and everywhere else) rather than asking a question in words, though.
Mel glances up from the bar, and grins around a mouthful of burrito.
"Might wanna move away from the door, there."
She probably seems strange to the Organization's warrior. For a start, there's the weapon that while big for Mel's size and heavy-looking, is definitely no sword. For another, there's hair of colors not seen on the whole of Clare's continent.
Then, there's the fact that she's carrying power that's not even as strong as Clare's own.
It's strange in a way Clare has vocabulary to express, though, which is not true of some of the auras around here. Nor of this place's sudden appearance, come to that.
She takes a few deliberate steps forward, towards the strange warrior. (A brand-new trainee? In... weird clothing?)

Her eyes cut sharply to the kid with the strong y--
okay, he's got a strong aura, which means he has to be a yoma wearing a boy's shape, but it's just weird.
Her hand doesn't go to her sword yet, but she's ready for it.

"What is this place?"
Because it sure looked like forest a minute ago.

She springs back and away -- a small jump for one of her kind, but it still puts her a safe couple of yards away, facing Babs.

So there's finally another warrior here, is there.
Teresa blinks her silver eyes, and goes back to sitting against her sword.
An aura that weak (though familiar) is hardly something she would care about.

(And one that's somehow, strangely, familiar.)
But Clare wasn't told to meet up with any other warriors, and she has no reason to seek this one out.
Their paths will cross, or they won't. It doesn't really matter. Right now, Clare has other priorities.

She had a sip of water yesterday. She's good for a while!
Meanwhile: "What do you mean?"
Milliways, bar, and universe are all words that do not compute.
