"Hey Mia." Guppy comes and sits nearby. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just tired," she answers back with a wave. "Cepheus either has a stomach bug or found a way to get the sweets from the kitchen. Either way, he woke us up at 5 in the morning today to let us know he's not happy about his tummy hurting. I'm getting a break while I'm here so I'll be ready when I go back home."

"Aw, poor kid." Guppy says. "Do you want me to find you any medicines that might help?"

"Sure. Preferably something he won't spit out as soon as it hits his mouth, if possible."

Mia takes another bite of pickled cactus.

Kaworu is not a connoisseur of food. He is, in fact, far from it. So he's not giving the food a 'I wonder if that is interesting, should I try' look. He's giving it a 'why do you exist stop offending the world by being around' look instead.

"Hello," he says.

Pause.

"Why are you possibly eating that?"

"Hello, Kaworu."

She scrunches her face a little at his question.

"You sound like Draco when he sees me eat this. He can't seem to grasp that I think grog loaf sandwiches and pickled Salyan cactus taste good."

"I do not know what the former is and cannot imagine eating a cactus."

....don't they all have really pointy needles?

"It's a sandwich made from grog snake meat. It's good. And so's the cactus."

She holds up the pickle spear, which is cactus needle free.
