Apollo's at a table, contemplating something.
The latest 'don't eat the free food' reminder caught his attention first - not that he's ever had a problem with not eating free food, but apparently it trips up the mortals around here. So he didn't think much of it until he found a stray hot dog wrapperThis? Sounds like a slightly bigger problem ( Read more... )

(OOC: For plot purposes and also slight doppelganger and the fact that William's gotten rather tangled up in PJOverse.)

William ended up stopping in Milliways after his bartending shift as the fall made his knee hurt.

He's done some slow work in the stables and now is heading towards a table with some books and food, but pauses when he sees the wrapper,

"That's from the kitchen, sir. Caught it on my boot when I was doin' tendin'."

"I'd hope this isn't part of the usual stock. Just plain irresponsible to serve something that actually lists black magic in the ingredients to people who don't know it's coming."
And then he looks up, and does a slight double-take - but he knows it's not Percy (if it were, he'd have to wonder what kind of time-travel-meets-the-Mist shenanigans were going on), so it doesn't last long.

William's used to double takes and nods to the man,

"I don't think it is, sir, they were quite a mess in the kitchen. Do you know Percy or Albus?"

It helps to know who someone thinks he looks like as Percy and Albus' worlds are very different.

"I bet."
Apollo smiles a little. "Percy. Take it you've gotten that one before?"
