"Not yet." He pulls out a glass and a bottle of whiskey, fills the glass and then slides it towards Jack. "But then, the night's still young."

Munch doesn't put the whiskey bottle away just yet, just in case.

She stalls for a moment, not entirely sure of what she was going to say. Should she make some quip about remodeling or just come right out and ask the very stupid question that's on her mind.
