The long day of baking had been cathartic, and Sunshine had needed it. Rae... wasn't thinking about what was going on back home, just yet. Wasn't ready to, so wasn't going to. Not right now. She had just set the tray of still-warm baked good on the bar when she'd received a napkin

Mmmmm.

It's not a hard drink to make, and she's made it before. It doesn't take long before the tall, red-orange drink is set on the bar in front of the tall, red-orange Axel.

"Cataclysm and bitter death," he says, looking at her sign. "I think I'll have one of each. What drink should I take with them?"
Sunshine looks a lot better than last time, he observes.

She's doing better. Not... wholly great, but better. Time away has helped.
"Hmmmm," Rae thinks, pondering Urquhart's tastes. She remembers he likes fruit, at least. "The Sunset has watermelon schnapps, coconut rum, pineapple juice, and grenadine. How does that sound?"

She grabs the watermelon schnapps and the malibu rum, and begins making the drink.

"Can I have a Sunshake, please?"

"Care for anything else to go with it?"
There's.... a lot of baked goods there, all smelling and looking delicious.

"As I'd hate for most of one to go to waste. Hmm."
And a moment later --
"Dare I ask what Bitter Chocolate Death is?"
Reply
"Bitter Chocolate Death is this here," she says, gesturing to the dense, moist chocolate cake as deep and dark as sin. "Semi-sweet chocolate flourless cake. For chocolate purists, who want something more intense than sweet."
Reply
"Is that what you would classify as a secret weapon?"
Reply
"Usually it'd be the Killer Zebras, the Death of Marat, or the Buttermost Limit, but I didn't make those today. The Cinnamon Rolls usually do well as a weapon of mass deliciousness on their own. They're enough to make hardened veteran cops lick their plates and fussy business women run in high heels over our cobblestones to get to the coffeehouse before we run out every morning."
Pride? In our Sunshine? It's more likely than you think.
