Every now and again, there is the sight of a fluffy paw sticking up to pull something off a table. Apple cores, left over chips, that sort of thing. Providing they are quite definitely abandoned

Ginny watches as she looks at him and then wonders what he's doing

The Womble scurries across to the next table, peeping his nose over to sniff.

He reaches up, pulls the bits of discarded bread roll into his tidy bag, and leaves the meat, which Wombles don't touch.
