Every now and again, there is the sight of a fluffy paw sticking up to pull something off a table. Apple cores, left over chips, that sort of thing. Providing they are quite definitely abandoned.
It's been a hungry time for Wellington. There's a food shortage at home, with several hundred mouths to feed and not a lot on the common. Anyone would think those Human Beings are starting to learn to clean up after themselves!
Wellington's stomach growls as he gingerly grabs a discarded jacket potato skin to put in his tidy bag. But it wouldn't be right to start eating the food without sharing it out with the others.
