"OK, what's the catch?" Free drinks are never that easy.

"Good." One more to go. White. "I like being me." He pops in his mouth. "Cheddar cheese?"

"Quite possibly," she says.

You really never know.

"Congratulations.

"What can I get you?"

"Beer. Gotham Reserve, if you can find it." He ponders taking another bean, but figures that would be pressing his luck.

And what is one meant to do with luck, if not press it?

Lily looks around, and then just uses a summoning charm to bring the beer to her, rather than trying to locate it.

"One Gotham Reserve," she says, cheerfully, setting it in front of him.

"That was, um, neat." He'll never be used to magic.

"Easier than searching, really," Lily says.

"Not something you see on your world much?"

[gotham_knocking]

"Not at all. At least as far as I know. If there is real magic, it's hidden."
