Amanda walks over to the seedling. "These are beautiful." she comments.

"Would you like one? I brought them to give as not enough people have gardens."

"I would like it." she admits, "Could add one to my new place." she turns to the woman and offers her hand, "I'm Amanda"

"Demeter, what sort of plant would you like? Something that blooms or something to use in your cooking?"

Demeter shakes her hand with a smile, her hands are covered with callouses.

"Greetings, dear friend," Teja says, walking up to her when he sees her. "You have brought plants for the gardens?"

"Hello, Teja, yes, I have."

[ostro_goth]

Teja picks up one of the pots and turns it in his hands. "What kind of plants are these?"

"All kinds, I brought a variety with me. What would you like?"

Red sticks her nose into the seedlings first and Scorpius soon follows to pull her away.

"Sorry. What are you growing?" he asks curiously, peering down at one of the small pots.

Demeter laughs,

"Are you looking for some catnip, little one? A number of things depending on what people would like."

[alsoagreengrass]

"I think she's just looking for anything to add to her collection."

He stops Red before she can put one of her paw in a pot and knock it over.

"You're selling them?"

[wheatencrown]

"Giving them away since not enough people have gardens. How like a cat, she wants her things where she can find them even if they're not hers to begin with."

[ooc: I'm popping out shortly for Eastery things myself, but I wanted to get him in here. :)]

"Don't those sorts of things tend to grow better outdoors?" Orpheus asks, peering over her shoulder with a smile.

(OOC: In theory I'm finishing a paper so no worries and yay.)

"Yes, but not everyone has the space so there are pots,"

She turns and hugs him.

He gladly returns the hug as usual.

"I was only teasing you, my lady."

"I know but you should be careful or else you'll be carrying a rosebush home with you."

"I made this for you," Thalia says as she lays a corona of spring flowers on the table. It mostly well constructed and likely to stay together if worn and the the flowers are fresh. Thalia is a girl of many skills.

[OOC-Slow as I've family over but couldn't resist.]

Demeter looks up at her and beams,

"Thank you, my dear. Would you like a plant for your room?"

"It's to thank you and give you honor," she continues a bit formally. That done she smiles a bit before replying, "Sure...will the light in my room be enough for it?"

"There's no reason why it wouldn't be. Would you like something that blooms or something that's green? How are you doing?"
