Data is over by the fireplace, playing the violin. Spot is curled up next to him, looking very comfortable.

It is the first violin part to Bach's Air on a G String, if anyone is curious.

Botherable, as always. Feel free to interrupt, or wait until he is finished playing.

Cy happens to be near enough to listen to Data playing. He's also far enough from Lore that he doesn't notice there are two Datas in the Bar.

Still playing, Data looks up from his violin when he realizes he has a visitor.

"Hello, Cyborg," he greets amiably.

[says_the_booyah]

"Hey. You can keep playing. It was kinda pretty. Not my thing, but pretty."

Room for one million songs on his MP5 player, and not one violin solo.

[ol_yellow_eyes]

"Thank you," Data says, and continues.

He'll be finished in a moment.

Trowa recognizes the tune.

He doesn't volunteer this fact. But he is listening. The strange man* plays pretty well.

*Presumably-man. This is Milliways, and his coloring and bearing are both rather strange. It's not sufficient evidence to conclude non-human, but Trowa keeps an open mind about these things.

Data looks up from his violin to give his visitor a brief greeting: "Hello."

And then returns to playing.

"Hello."

Trowa is amiable! Laconic, but amiable.

And not inclined to interrupt.

He will be finished in a moment.

When the piece does end, his brows furrow for a moment, and he shakes his head once. But then he turns to Trowa with a distinctly friendly expression.

"Thank you for listening. I always appreciate having an audience," he says. "I do not believe we have met before."

[OOC: Oh, dear. We've already got a thread going... but Enzo really likes Bach.]

[OOC: We are free to fade on that thread, and say that Enzo got the whole story, maybe? >.> That would work really well for me, actually.]

[OOC: Oh, sure, that'd be fine. And Enzo will spend a while after that kicking himself for not doing anything to help, even though he can't think of anything he could have done short of breaking random doors down.]

X does not like to interrupt people when they are busy.

But once Data is finished playing --

"Hello."

She could be talking to either Data or Spot. Or both.

"Hello," Data returns, setting his violin on his lap.

Spot does not seem to have noticed the visitor. He is grooming himself rather absently.

Awkwardly --

"You like cats?"

Small talk is difficult. Practice helps.

[ol_yellow_eyes]

Yes, it does. Data has found this to be so!

"Yes, I do," he replies, glancing over at Spot. "I would say that I am fascinated by most life forms, actually. I find the concept of domesticated animals to be particularly interesting, and enjoy taking care of Spot."

The cat looks up at the mention of his name, mews, and goes back to grooming.

Enzo smiles as he hears the music. Sprites, even ones not normally into classical, like Bach. He sounds right.

And there is the source, and there in the corner of his vision is...

Oh.

Enzo makes his nonchalant way over to the fireplace area and sits down, offering Spot his fingers in greeting.

As Data continues playing, Spot gets up and walks over to Enzo, sniffing at his fingers.

The fingers are wiggled slightly. They really are quite large fingers.

[ol_yellow_eyes]

Spot ducks his head underneath them.

He may indeed want pets!
