Well, it's not so much the designs or the sprawling that bothers Vergil. It's the fact that the Huragok dropped one of its tools and it fell down between the human and the cushions.

Perhaps it can root around back there for the leverage wrench with one tentacle without disturbing anything.

No, no, it's fine, just fine. It would attempt to repair some device of the human's in return for the human's patience, but the human doesn't seem to be carrying any equipment right now. Oh well.

Perhaps it will just pat the human reassuringly on one hand with a forward tentacle and start to rise upward.

Yeah. Travis doesn't make a point of keeping his phone in his pyjamas, and it doesn't work here, anyway.

Instead he just stares at the thing, and doesn't even try to think about how it's totally and completely defying gravity.

He's dreaming. He has to be. Even for Milliways, that was all really weird.
