Well, someone looks new. And kinda adorable, but Trudy's always had a weakness for that type (and get your mind out of the gutter, the kid looks about eight years too young for her and in any case, she has a boyfriend).
"New, I take it?" The pilot asks, attempting to brush white fur off her black singlet (not flightsuit, just singley and jungle-green pants shoved into combat boots.
"Milliways." She doesn't add 'the bar at the end of the universe' because, so far, no one has told her the full name. As far as she's concerned, the Window is just a pretty display. "It's a bar in another dimension."
There's a guy a few years older than Rory sitting at a table not too far from the door, with a short stack of leatherbound books, a notepad, and a tall glass of something frozen and chocolatey (and mildly alcoholic).
He glances up at the sound of the door, and offers a smile and a wave.
Because, all right. This place looks strangely like a ... pub, or a family restaurant, or - or both - and he's relatively certain (well, no. More than relatively certain) that there's never been any sort of pub or restaurant here before.
He's done a lot of photocopying in his short time working here, and the copy-room has never simply up and vanished.
So, while the guy by the table seems quite friendly, Rory remains ... well, skeptical.
"The End of the Universe, it's a rather odd thing to watch,"
She's in a green linen dress with no shoes and honestly not much else along with dirt under her fingernails, she gestures towards the Window, Demeter doesn't like it.
Okay. Extreme Makeover: Copy-Room Edition aside, this woman is clearly having some sort of delusion, and it is Rory's responsibility as a nurse to ... well, get her back to the psych ward.
"Oh - right. Right. The end of the universe," he says, schooling his expression into one of sympathetic understanding. "Well, why don't you come with me and we'll get you back to -"
Hold on a moment.
It seems Rory's just had a glance at that Window Demeter just pointed to.
Rory might recognize the voice humming slightly as the door opens. A moment later, if he were looking in that direction, he'd most definitely recognize the freckled face and flaming red hair. It's lose and down, today, kept out of her hair by a headband.
There's also a bag holding a package in her hand, which she is swinging slightly.
If he's heard yet about her particular profession, he can probably guess at more or less what's in it.
She has a moment of surprise when she enters--she still never knows exactly what to make of the place, beyond something new, something different, something not boring old Leadworth--
Which is why, when she nearly runs into him a moment later, her expression is one of pure shock.

No gun today, either)

Instead, he closes his mouth, licks his lips, and says with all the eloquence of a newcomer: "... new to what?"

There's a pause as Rory tries to comprehend the idea, thinks better of it, then shakes his head.
"Is this some sort of joke? I mean - that's not possible."
Except in movies.

This is Rory's first thought.

Also, still staring stupidly.

There, that's better.
Sort of.
(His heart's thundering in his chest, though.)
"... and what d'you mean, the copy room?"
Reply
"Oh child, you are safe."

But he manages to hold his tongue.
There are obviously more important matters at hand.
Such as ... well.
This place.
"Safe?" he repeats. "... er. Safe from what, exactly?"
Should he be worried?
(Besides - again - the obvious.)

"...Rory?"
Her face and voice are a little blank.
This she didn't expect.

Copy room. Gone. Pub in place instead. Really odd.
(Really, really odd.)
But seeing Amy in the hospital-that-is-no-longer-a-hospital is a bloody relief because she's the first familiar thing within all this ... this.
It even makes him (momentarily) forget the added layer of awkwardness he usually gets when he's around her.
"Amy."
He swallows.
Then a bit louder (and with a fair amount of concern): "Amy, are you okay?"
[ hiii! <3]

(It's probably a very familiar look, in a lot of ways.)
Still, he isn't being as horribly awkward as usual, which is a relief.
"The one and only."
Beat.
And then, more slowly, "Well, yeah. Why wouldn't I be okay?"
Another beat.
"You probably don't want to drop those. On the way to the copy room?" It'd be just like him, too, to drop it all out of his startle reflex.

A few stray manila folders manage to slip from his grasp, but it's nurse-type fast reflexes that keep the rest in check. (Albeit with some shakiness.)
Momentarily ignoring them, he frowns.
"Wait. Hold on. Why aren't you - I mean, have I gone mad? Are you not seeing what I'm seeing right now?"
