Moist doesn't argue when he gets the note from Bar asking him to tend, he simply sighs and pulls out the cocktail book. He's still wearing his best quality suit and pulls out a deck of cards from a deep inner pocket to play with as he reads.

Then with a grin, he gets an idea, its always useful to have something to hang a plan on.

Trying to figure out how to play the guitar is much harder than Thalia had expected. It was thirsty work as well which is why she doesn't mind taking a break when she spotted the guy behind the bar.

"You don't seem as if you need new card tricks," she says by way of greeting.

"That's why the drink ends up free if you can teach me one. What can I get you?"

She's pretty but looks rather angry so Moist gives her one of his nicest smiles.

After living on the streets you know not to trust a smile from someone who plays card tricks.

"Good point. Any of those non-alcoholic?"

"No, but I can make the Copperhead non-alcoholic by just removing the vodka."

"Two kinds of rum and vermouth."

He raises an eyebrow at her hair, but its not terribly odd compared to other things he's seen.

"Of course, you can. One moment."

The cards are tucked away in his jacket pocket as he starts to mix the drink.

"Free Silver, thanks," Nathan remarked as he settled into a seat by the bar.

"Not sure what I can offer for card tricks per se. Learned a few card games in the Navy."

Moist puts the deck of cards in front of Nathan, its a nice but worn deck,

"Show me what you know while I make your drink."

"Know anything about poker? Used to play a good game of Texas Hold 'Em." Nathan cut the deck, and started shuffling the cards.

"I've played it before, but that doesn't really count as a card trick. Not unless you know how to cheat and not get caught, that's the trick."

Moist might know something about that but being a card cheat is a whole other type of conning.
