The front door opens to reveal a rather dusty looking angel, and an oil and grime-streaked trickster. They are bickering amiably about handlebars, or perhaps storage compartments, or even tailpipes. All three have been discussed already today, probably more than once ( Read more... )

"I'm not saying it has to be big enough for a whole lot of stuff to go in there," he's insisting, complete with helpful illustrative gestures.

"Just long. Would be good."

"And I say to you, dear, you don't need to compensate for anything."

Maybe they're talking about different things?

Okay, he walked into that one.

"For the - oh, never mind," he says, glancing over to see the smirk beginning to make an appearance on her face.

Coyote uses this opportunity to sneak her feet into his lap for good. Muhuahahaha.

"No, no, do go on. Are we talking cruiser, or just being sneaky with some extra storage?"

Raven lands on Coyote's feet.

Without ceremony.

He is like that.

His arm goes around Raguel's shoulders, too.

Maybe he is considerate enough not to smack the angel's head with his elbow.

But probably not.

"Ow," he yells, with every appearance of being extremely annoyed (except for the part where he shoves back).

"Hello to you, too."

Coyote thrashes, trapped. And then she tries to bite him, but even she might not be that flexible.

Raven ducks away from Raguel, which lets him smother Coyote even more.

He is a good multi-tasker like that.

"You, I think, have been very busy, yes?"

So.

Antigone doesn't ever really mean to come here, exactly. Not anymore. But sometimes she is drawn, and when that happens she never does resist it.

Therefore: She approaches on light feet, still wrapped in her cherry-red coat, along a path as straightforward as if she knew all along who it was she'd find.

(She does.)

Quite softly, she says:

"Hello."

Coyote looks up from the bar's shiny finish with a start.

...okay, she is totally not high, or dreaming or anything. She still goes a little pale, though.

Antigone hesitates, watching her closely.

She can never tell when Coyote will want her about.

Okay, look, Antigone. It seems you are suffering from a distinct lack of brains, sweetheart. Name one time when Coyote didn't want you around. Go ahead. We'll wait.

This could take a while, because Coyote is still kind of staring at her. It's been some time, after all.

Saffron may or may not overhear the part of the conversation about tailpipes.

Not purposefully, mind you.

She's still adjusting to the whole "heightened senses" development of her transformation - and possibly cursing Seimei under her breath in various streams of Mandarin while she's at it.

Well, if she looks over in their direction, Coyote will be giving her a little finger-wave. She remembers Saffron, even if they didn't actually introduce themselves.

Somebody's watching them. Or listening to them, or somehow... paying attention. It's like an itch on the back of his neck, one that he can't even scratch.

She may not exactly remember the meeting itself.

It was brief, to say the least.

Just the same, she'd prefer she wasn't able to listen to every single word people are saying - even if it is useful in the long run. All it's doing now is serving to give her one unpleasant headache.

She straightens, briefly, when the dark-haired woman acknowledges her, lifting her own hand with a smirk and a wave.
