Elaine comes down into the bar with her drawing supplies and gets busy sketching.

Coffee in hand, Connor is wandering around and spots a lady he remembers from somewhere... generally he's pretty good with remembering where he's seen someone, but he's not making the connection with this one.

"Afternoon. Forgive me, I know we've met, but I am having a serious memory lapse today." And he offers a still-half-tired smile.

Elaine smiles. "Hello. My name is Elaine. I believe it was the night we all decorated the tree that we met."

The lightbulb goes off.

"Right... I was talking to the not-tree and you and the guy you were with had a question about something. I remember now." He extends his right hand - which just happens to be the one *not* holding the coffee mug. "Connor."

Elaine rubs pencil dust off on her skirts before shaking his hand. (She's learned about that in the past few months. ;-) ) "It's a pleasure to meet you. Won't you sit down?"

Hyde kinda waves at Elaine from the bar, but he's obviously hungover, hasn't changed his clothes in a few days, and probably not very awake. So kinda-waves he does.

Elaine smiles at him and waves cheerily. He does look a bit rough, but she's seen worse. Much worse. She won't embarass him by sketching him in this state.

Yeah, he's been worse, too. He's just embarassed. He digs a cigarette out of his plaid jacket, lights up, and takes a drag. Maybe after a few more he'll be ready to join her.

Hyde looks hermitish today, so she doesn't bother him, but grins and turns back to her work. He's welcome to join her whenever he would like.
