They really don't like it when you don't come in and say hi to them for a while. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not like I could. But according to what I could see, my time in the labyrinth had come out to a really long time here, like, months, and now I was getting raised noses and rolled eyes with the occasional hoof-stomp.
I was going to have to come in with reinforcements tomorrow, and by that I mean 'sugar cubes' and 'apples'.
For now, I'm just brushing them out and changing up the hay. That seems to be making a dent in the horsey collective. Either way, though, it's kind of nice to do and the few of them that're talking to me are really friendly. Considering what I had to go back out to (you know, certain death, danger, and the possible destruction of Camp Halfblood), it definitely had it's advantages.
