Happy New Year to you too. I hope your Christmas was good. I love the calligraphy pens and notebook. *she shrugs* I would have gotten you something, but...
"1997 for me. I'm glad James is green with envy. I didn't plan on that, but a jealous older brother does make a nice bonus. Thank YOU for the book on Celtic mythology." And he grins.
Peter considers recommending that Will see Star Wars when it comes out in June, but decides against it. He would, however, like to see Will's face when he recognises the pictures of Luke, Leia and Han on the film posters.
He also considers asking Will about Moiraine, who definitely did not want to talk about whatever happened to her. Regretfully, he decides that doing so would not be honourable.
Instead, he asks another question that has occurred to him now again. "How is Merriman?"

*It's the principle of the thing, is all, for a younger sibling.*
*He sobers, a little, shifting slightly from teenager to grave Old One, as Peter asks about Merriman.*
*slightly wryly* Merriman is Merriman, as ever, of course. Well enough. I have only seen him once since you saw him last, I think.
*And that time he was talking to the Rider, and Will did not interrupt save to listen. Will does not say that, however.*
