Will's more of a tea man and has just come inside after a good long session outside and with his longbow, he looks truly pulled from a storybook.

That's definitely going to get stared at too. Not only because Will is (somewhat) armed, but normally that sort of outfit is only seen in medieval reenactment societies. Usually.

"Okay..."

Will just blinks at him for a moment,

"That ye, Clark?"

"Not my name. Sorry."

Really, he's looking very apologetic. Which probably doesn't help.

"Merlin?" Teja says, recognising his long-lost friend.

Or not?

On a closer look, he is younger than Merlin ever was while Teja knew him; also, at this age, he resembles Eirene's secretive boyfriend.

But it is not him, either.

"I am sorry," Teja adds. "I was mistaking you."

That was unexpected, but Merlin's had a few years under his belt at not looking startled when hearing his name on strangers' lips, so he merely uses a puzzled expression instead.

"Honest mistake. That's understandable."

"You are not Clark, either," Teja says. "One would assume you are new?"

"... Definitely not Clark." What kind of name is Clark anyway? He hazards another look around him, trying to extrapolate where he is, and why, then glances back to Teja.

"It seems so, since I'm pretty sure this was a cafe yesterday."

And there is Emmett, staring back, trying to hold back a smirk as he lucked out and knew where he was going before he ended up in Milliway's. After a moment, he sits back and drinks from a glass of red liquid and smiles to himself.

Yeah, big help he is. Merlin can stop a smirk from twenty paces! Fifty if he's actually paying attention. Even so, all Emmett gets in return is a faintly confused smile - exactly the type of expression one would expect on a newcomer to Milliways.

Best part? It's completely genuine.

"New here, I presume?"

An eyebrow quirks and he just barely glances over his shoulder back at Merlin.

"I guess so. Depends on if they converted the cafe into a bar for the hell of it, or there are forces at work determined to keep me from my coffee."

Operation Helpless New Guy is a-go.

He offers a friendly smile! "Welcome to Milliways."

"Thanks." Here's a small, almost friend smile back. "Milliways?"
