Momiji is staring forlornly at his door, the French toast on the table in front of him completely forgotten. The door, you see, has committed the grave sin of actually being there, this morning.

He's not sure he wants to go out of it.

Oh, he knows he will. His backpack is already packed at his feet, slightly bulging from the clothes and books

Mia sees Momiji from the back, so she doesn't get a peek at his anxious expression yet.

She almost hugs him, but she thankfully decides surprise rabbitness wouldn't be good and settles for a gentle tap on his shoulder instead.

"Momiji?"

She's clearly happy about something. Maybe that will spread to him.

Rabbitiness might have improved his mood, really. Being small and warm and fuzzy makes it hard to be flustered.

But he flashes a welcoming smile, bending his head back to look up at her, even without fur all over himself.

"Hi, Mia!"

Don't worry; there can still be's rabbitness. If Mia goes into one of her giddy swings, she might not resist a hug.

"Mind if I sit down and have some breakfast with you? I've got good news."

Well, looks like she's already sitting down, so he best not object. She waves over a waitrat, but she's pondering what to have for breakfast.

She eventually says, "Can I have a glass of grapefruit juice, a blueberry waffle, and some scrambled eggs with cheese and a little bit of garlic?"

Guess her cravings haven't gotten too weird ye-

"And can you sandwich the eggs in the waffle?"

Whoops. Spoke too soon.

"...waffle-egg sandwich?"

There's a lot of giggling coming around the hand at Momiji's mouth, a grin stretched out behind it.

"That's pretty weird, Mia."

Sounds like a mouthful, too!

"You look troubled," says a truly creepy voice from behind him. "Anything we can help you with?"
