X, lingering downstairs after the completion of today's Security shift, lifts her head once she catches Joris' scent.

Visual contact prompts both a frown and quick, concerted movements toward his position.

She has, after all, not seen him in quite some time.

"Joris."

And she is very tired of seeing people hurt, of late.

-Alright, this is maybe one good thing about Milliways at this moment.

"Laura!"

The Front Door and the Bounds can wait for one moment.

"Have you seen Jamie and Helen- or even Konstam, or a boy named Adam or a- a young woman with red hair named Vanessa? If they've come this way at all, just recently? And hopefully not hurt- I didn't see if they had been or not..." Joris bites his lip.

Her response is prompt, though Joris' questions do not do much about her frown.

"They have not been here."

Beat.

"I would know."

X's quick response only has Joris starting back towards the door.

"Then I've got to go start finding everyone. They did something when we attacked-"

He stops mid-step and mid-sentence, and looks back at X-

Joris has an idea of just how good a fighter she is. He also knows that she's read through the entire copy of Mim's List and probably remembers all of it better than he does.
