Jason is in the Bar today. He still had a pair of soft knit shorts stashed in the rocks outside, but no shirt. He doesn't really care, though. He'd just pulled them on without a second thought and trudged into the Bar

There's an oversized coffee being pressed into Jason's hands, and a soft pat on his shoulder from Coreen. She doesn't say anything to him, just shows. Sometimes it's better that way.
A sigh. She knows what he's doing to himself. There's been the overheard bar talk, but...then there's seeing him. She's walked that sort of road, and it nearly killed her. There's another pat on the arm.
"You're always welcome, Jason."
She wants to help; but there seems to be more people trying to help him and failing. This small gesture...she can do this, small cold comfort or not. It's better than nothing in Coreen's mind.
"Oh, this is for you too."
Another sketch of him, from her mind. It's folded up, and she slips it into his other hand before she walks away from him, glancing back, but continuing to walk.
One of the things that Jason does not see in front of him is Ruin.
To say Ruin is angry is to say the sun is warm. The only appropriate word is fury.
He grabs the underside of the table separating him from Jason with his right hand and savagely flips it over. If this were still Cubefall, there would an enormous stream of shattering Legos; instead, nearby patrons may want to beware of splinters.
One more step forward, and his left hand comes around in a punch more forceful than any he's ever thrown, crashing into Jason's jaw hard enough to send wolf and chair spilling backwards onto the floor.
Jason feels him there, but makes no move to stop him, even when he sees the punch hurtling towards his face. He deserves this; he wants this. So when the punch connects, feeling much like being hit by an angry vamp, he falls back to the floor with a grunt of pain.
His body takes over despite how much he thinks he deserves this, arms raising in defense to ward off any other blows.
The raised hands leave the midsection open, so Ruin follows up with a kick to the ribs hard enough to roll Jason onto his stomach. He reaches down and grabs a handful of hair, using it to pull Jason off the floor.
"Do you have any idea what you've done, you brainless fuck?!"
Jason doesn't say anything, but continues to stare off.
Ramon deserves at least a 'fuck off', but Jason doesn't have it in him. Besides the fact that there's that growing urge in the back of his mind to have Ramon bring him some more cocaine to replace what he'd lost.
Bare feet pad silently over to Jason. She's never been one for shoes once the weather became nice enough. Her eyes are taking Jason's appearance in with a concerned frown on her face as she comes to stand next to him.

That's all Charlie says to him, though there's quite a bit more he's thinking upon seeing Jason looking the way he does.

There's no room for argument in his tone. "Whether or not you want to talk."

And he still doesn't answer.

"You son of a bitch!" he howls.

His eyes are full of pain and...desperation. As if he wants Ruin to do it.

The question is soft because she cares, but the way he looks speaks volumes right now.
