There's a coyote curled up on the hearth of the fireplace. She seems mostly unconcerned about her surroundings, tail tucked up over her nose, eyes mostly shut.
"Besides the fact that he is not all that bright? My dear, you must learn that the world is populated by idiots no matter where you go. Have I not broken you of thinking well of everyone, yet?"
Coyote smugs. This mostly includes her swishing her tail along the floor, perking her ears back up, and tilting her head at a certain angle that could only be identified as 'smug'.

Absently. It's already so distant as to become unimportant.
"I expect you did teach me about more than competent sex, at least," Antigone muses. "I remember it that way. Shall I pet you?"

It's strange, seeing her like this.
But she'll take it, if it's all she can have.

(She probably doesn't notice the weird.)
And stretches out a hand to scritch Coyote's ears with cold, gentle fingers.
"... I'm sorry," she murmurs, withdrawing and rubbing her hands together for a moment before trying again.
She does remember how much colder she is than everybody else.

Antigone's smiling faintly, looking pleasantly surprised.
"I thought you wanted to banish me. It's what people do with ghosts."

"I suppose I should think the same, if I were you." She seems to recall something, and her lips quirk. "Except ..."
A shake of her head.
"Even in my head I could never make you a ghost."
