[OOC: Part of the Duet for Claws and Swords plot.]

Moon's in the bar this evening.

She is in her customary position, seated atop a table, her wolves beneath, and she is slowly building a tower out of her tarot cards.

The table, she thinks, is not as comfortable as Norman, nor as talkative, but it will do for now.

"You did look pretty in your tree," Tower said, leaning in to kiss his sister's cheek.

"But it's easier this way!"

She smiles at him, turning her face to kiss his.

"The wolf came and called the moon down. The moon could hardly deny the wolf's sad song."

"That was a good job!" Tower says. "Your little wolf is doing you good."

Moon shakes her head, returning to her tower of cards.

"We do neither any good."

Those tables are tall to little five-year-olds. They're hard to peek over.

"Hi! Are you allowed to sit on them?"

The tables, she means.

Moon peers over her table.

"No one has told me not to," she says.

There's a friendly kid's face looking up at Moon. It also happens to be a fox's face, but Lilly's never noticed that aspect of herself before.

"Oh. Maybe you don't have teachers who can tell you that." Pause. "Mrs Jenkins probably wouldn't like it if I sat on tables." Pause. "Can I sit with you? All the small chairs are taken."

"You may sit with me."

Moon smiles.

"I like company."
