River walks passed Ace with an armload of books. She gets about two steps passed and pauses, wobbling a bit as she catches the top few. Slowly, she reverses course and peers around the stack.

"Hello again."

Ace grins brightly, snagging another slice of pizza. Oooey gooey crunchy goodness, oh yes.

"Hullo River. Studyin' up?"

[riversinger]

"Always," she grins, shifting an errant book back into place. "What's that? It smells delicious."

"... Y'never had pizza? S'almost as good as geckos."

It's her gecko substitute. Keeps her... sort of on the straight and narrow.

"Grab a plate an' dig in. An' maybe order another. I'm starved."

Two mugs of cocoa slide their way onto the table-top.

This is followed by a bit of scramble and something of a flop and then, quickly enough, a pajama-clad little girl taking up some of the available booth-space next to her.

Good daughters know to bring offerings.

Happy purr! Particularly kitty pyros know how to cuddle.

Also, how to pull a slice of pizza onto a napkin and push it in front of good daughters.

Snuggles are heartily approved of.

And returned.

"H'lo, mum."

This may or may not be said around a bit of pizza. That (hypothetically, of course) may or may not be considered bad manners.

Spoon can handle manners. Ace handles not buggering up motherhood.

And not saying 'buggering up' where Cora can hear it.
