Jane was not expecting the note she received from the Bar today. She was simply looking forward to a quiet place to perhaps read or even do a bit of writing not serving others, but she will do as she must.

The book of cocktails is put away as instead Jane writes a list of what she knows in neat handwriting.

(Right.)

"An Atlantian, if you please?"

"Two."

"Atlantean, yes, one moment, sirs."

Jane has no idea what or where that is but she will not betray that and finally finds a bottle labeled Atlantean and pours out two small sherry glasses,

"I hope this is as you desired."

There is a small, oriental woman with a great mass of curly black hair, wearing a business suit -- knee-long skirt, jacket, soft blouse.

And tightes, patterned with a soft, lacey feather pattern.

"I like your set of choices," she says to Jane. "I'll have some sherry!"

The suit is not recognizable to Jane but she bobs a curtsy to the woman as she moves to where she knows the sherry bottles are,

"Do you prefer a dry or a cream sherry, ma'am?"

"I'd like a dry one, please," the woman says. "You don't often serve drinks here, do you?"

"No, ma'am. I was rather surprised when I was asked to but I feel that it is only fair to do what I can here."

A small glass is poured out and handed over with a shy smile.

Finally, someone resembling normal behind the bar, and a fifteen year old boy (nearly sixteen) with curly mussed hair finds himself a barstool.

"A beer please?"

He also looks familiar and Jane gives him a good smile,

"Of course, is there a brewery you prefer or should I just pick one?"

"You can pick one, if you would like to. I am familiar with the breweries at home already."

It's more than Eduard normally says to anyone; Sophie's been working on him.

"I think I saw one that my brother Henry enjoys, one moment."

She searches and grins again as she finds the one she was thinking of before pouring him a pint,

"Here you are."

Well, helloooooo.

"A port, if you please, my buxom beauty," grins Porthos from a stool very near Jane.

:D?

Jane's eyes go quite wide for a moment as she tries to think of a good response as her eyes go over his outfit,

"Of course, lord musketeer."

"Ah, you recognize me!" exclaims Porthos, with an obvious level of pride in the fact.

Jane is one of the first, which still baffles Porthos to no end. After all, he's famed throughout all eight oceans!

<.<

He stands briefly to give a proper -- if not grandiose -- bow.

"I am Porthos Du Vallon, my lady. Perhaps you have heard of me?"

"I fear I have not, sir. Perhaps the tales of your repute have not yet reached England's shores."

He is charming in a strange sort of way.

A familiar face is a wonderful thing to see,

"Good evening, Ganymede. May I get you something?"

"Let me give you a glass of sherry, you might find it sweet enough for your liking."

She pours out a small glass for him, hoping that he enjoys it since she does not know where to find ambrosia.
